Privacy policy · § 09

What we collect, and what we do with it.

Version 1.1 Last updated 13.08.26 Australian Privacy Principles

Two things reach us from this site: what you type into the contact form, and an anonymous count of which pages get read. No cookies, no advertising pixels, nothing that follows you to another website. This page says exactly what happens to both. Written in plain English on purpose.

01

What we collect

If you fill in the form on the contact page, we receive what you typed: your business name, your suburb, your email address, and the phone number, trade and note if you chose to add them. Nothing else on that form is required.

We do not collect payment details on this site. We run one analytics tool, Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and notes the country, the site you came from and the type of browser. It sets no cookies, does not store your IP address and cannot recognise you on any other website. We do not run advertising pixels, session recording or heatmaps.

02

Why we hold it

Form submissions are used to run your audit and reply to you. That is the only reason we hold anything.

The page counts tell us which pages get read, so we know what to write next. They are totals, not profiles, and there is no way for us to trace one back to a person.

We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a marketing list. If you ask us for an audit, you get an audit and a reply — not a sequence.

03

Who else sees it

  1. 01 Google Workspace — our email provider. Anything you send us by form or by email is stored in that mailbox. Their servers sit outside Australia, so it is stored overseas.
  2. 02 Cloudflare — our hosting and analytics provider. It serves the pages you are reading, keeps short-lived request logs, and produces the page counts described above.

When we run an audit we put questions about your market to ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. Those questions are about a trade and a suburb, the way a customer would ask them. We do not send your contact details to any of those engines.

04

Cookies and opting out

This site sets no cookies. Our analytics is the cookieless kind, so there is nothing to opt out of, and nothing on this site is gated behind accepting one.

That is also why there is no consent banner. With no advertising and nothing that follows you between websites, a banner would add a click without adding a choice. If that ever changes, this page changes first.

05

How long we keep it

Enquiries and audit reports are kept while you are a client and for seven years after the work ends, because tax and record-keeping rules require us to be able to produce the file. Ask us to delete an enquiry that did not become work and we will.

The page counts are held by Cloudflare on their own schedule. They contain nothing about you individually, so there is nothing in them for us to delete on request.

06

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email the address below and you will have an answer within 30 days, usually much sooner.

If you think we have mishandled your information and our answer does not settle it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
